1. Age Requirement

Our services are intended strictly for users who are 13 years of age or older (13+). If you are under 13, you are not permitted to use or register for the Hey application or website.

2. Information We Collect

We collect several types of information to provide, manage, and improve our services:

• Account & Profile Data: Since registration and login are conducted via Google Single Sign-On (SSO) and Apple Sign-In, we collect your primary Google or Apple Account details, including your mail Address, Full Name, and Profile Picture. Optional profile details (e.g., Mobile Number, Date of Birth, Gender) may also be stored if provided.
• Payment & Withdrawal Details: To process earnings and withdrawals for creators, we collect financial information such as UPI IDs, Bank Account Numbers, IFSC Codes, and Account Holder Names.
• Usage & Analytics Data: We collect device information (IP address, device model, operating system version, unique device identifier) and video viewing metrics (watch duration, view counts, folder interactions) to calculate platform earnings accurately.
• Social Cloud & Reference Data: When users click "Save to My Drive", our server stores a unique pointer/reference to the original video file rather than duplicating the media file.

3. Views-Based Earnings & Monetization Policy

Hey operates a unique CPM and views-based monetization system for creators and uploaders:

• View Counting & Verification: Earnings are triggered after reaching valid view thresholds (e.g., 1,000 views). We monitor IP addresses, device signatures, and viewing patterns to verify authentic engagement.
• Anti-Fraud & Valid Traffic Protection: Earnings are calculated strictly on valid, human views. Fraudulent activities—including bot traffic, automated scripts, click rings, self-refreshing, or artificial view inflation—are strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to forfeit earnings and suspend accounts violating this rule.
• Revenue Sharing & Collaborations: When creators use the "Share Revenue" feature, split percentages are processed automatically within our backend system to distribute earnings to linked collaborator wallets.
• Public Media Access & Shareable URLs: When you upload videos, media files, or content on the Hey platform (via the Webmaster Panel), generating or sharing a video link/URL makes that content publicly accessible. Anyone who possesses or receives the unique URL can view, stream, or reference ("Save to My Drive") that content. You are solely responsible for the content you choose to publish and share via public links. Do not upload or share private, sensitive, or copyright-infringing content on the platform.

4. Advertising & Third-Party Ad Networks

To keep our platform free and fund creator payouts, we serve advertisements on the platform:

• Ad Partners: We partner with Google AdMob and other third-party ad networks to serve App Open Ads, Video Start Ads, Mid-roll Ads (e.g., triggered every 10 minutes), and Banner Ads.
• Ad Identifiers & Personalization: Ad networks may collect and use device advertising identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID / AAID) and cookies to serve personalized or contextual advertisements and analyze ad performance.

5. Payment Partners & Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share necessary data only with trusted third-party providers for platform operations:

• Payment Processing: Withdrawals and financial payouts are processed securely through payment partners, including Razorpay and PayPal. Your banking/UPI details are shared only as required to complete transaction payouts.
• Legal Compliance: We may disclose user data if required by Indian law, regulatory bodies, or legal enforcement requests.

6. Data Security & Storage

We implement industry-standard security measures to safeguard your credentials and financial details. However, please note that no method of transmission over the internet or cloud storage system is 100% secure.

7. User Rights & Data Deletion

You have full control over your data on Hey:

• You may request account deletion or removal of your saved payment details (UPI/Bank info) at any time.
• User Account & Data Deletion: You have full ownership and control over your account. You can delete your account at any time directly from the Profile / Settings screen within the Hey application.
• Effect of Account Deletion: Once you initiate account deletion:
  • Your profile details, UPI/Bank credentials, and wallet balance history will be permanently removed or anonymized from our active database.
  • Any uploaded videos or media references associated with your account will be removed from public access, subject to system backup retention periods and active collaborator agreements.
  • Any pending or unwithdrawn balance will be forfeited upon account deletion, so please ensure you process eligible payouts before deleting your account.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our service features or legal requirements. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
